VARIETY: GAGA INKS HUGE VEGAS RESIDENCY DEAL

Variety is reporting that Lady Gaga has closed a deal, said to be valued at around $100m, to park her superstar self for a residency at Las Vegas' MGM Park Theater starting late in 2018. The engagement has initially been set at 74 dates with an option for extension.

Variety's Shirley Halperin credits CAA’s Christian Carino and attorney Kenny Meiselas of Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks with Sonya Guardo as the deal's negotiators.

Interscope's mercurial Grammy nominee—equally at home in a glam-pop meat dress or glad rags with Tony Bennett, crooning country in a roadside dive or lighting up the Super Bowl, belting with Metallica or donning fangs for American Horror Story—would, according to the piece, clear more than $1m per show.

That's money to go ga-ga over.
