Jay Z has been defiant about the rumors surrounding ticket sales of his 4:44 Tour, telling the crowd during his Miami show, which was the 10th stop of the 31-city tour, "It’s 17,000 motherf**kers in here tonight. What they gon’ say? What they gon’ say is nobody came tonight because they don’t want me to be this great. They can’t stop me. I can’t be stopped."
After some nosy sleuths revealed some seats going for as low as $6 on StubHub, the tour has been battling gossip about soft demand for the shows.
But promoter Live Nation insists the bargain seats are part of a now-successful strategy to battle ticket scalpers, and that the 4:44's tour numbers are actually up from the same period during his last jaunt, 2013's Magna Carter Tour.
So all you haters out there, Jay is saying: Take a seat. No really, though, buy a ticket and take one of these seats.
