DUA LIPA "RULES"

Dua Lipa is already huge in the U.K. (her single "New Rules" is #1 there now for the second week in a row), and now the Warner U.K. artist is breaking stateside.

The infectious "Rules" (structured as a set of guidelines for handling a breakup) impacted Pop radio last week, scoring 29 commitments, and has bowed in the Top 40. There was play in major markets (including NYC, S.F. and Miami) pre-impact. The single is also #26 on the Spotify U.S. Top 50, and #4 globally; indeed, Dua peaked as the platform's 20th most listened-to artist. She's #3 on the Shazam Global Chart, while also gaining serious traction stateside, as a 33-spot climb during impact week attests. "New Rules" hit the Top 100 in 26 iTunes markets. The video has earned north of 100m views.

An iHeartRadio Live event is scheduled for 9/28 in NYC.

The Ben Mawson/Tap Management-repped singer, who's the year's top-selling U.K. female solo act, will hit the road with Bruno Mars in 10 U.S. markets next month—including two shows at Madison Square Garden—with headlining European dates to follow. Earlier in the summer she appeared on GMA and Live With Kelly and Ryan.

Peter Gray have a long-term plan to take Dua the distance at multiple formats, although one of their new rules is to avoid talking to us.
