The start of Katy Perry’s tour has been pushed back 12 days and will now start 9/19 at Montreal’s Bell Centre. Noah Cyrus will open shows through 11/1; Purity Ring has the slot 11/7–12/20 and Carly Rae Jepsen gets the final month, 1/5–2/5.
"Due to unavoidable production delays, major elements of my tour stage design could not be available for me to rehearse on until this week,” Perry said. “I’ll be spending the next few weeks taking the time to properly prepare the show to be an experience I am proud to share with you. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but hope everyone who sees the show will agree it was worth the wait.”
The former opening show for Witness: The Tour, on 9/7 in Columbus, Ohio, has been moved to 9/24; Quebec City is now 10/9; Philadelphia is pushed to 10/12; and the two-night stand in Toronto is now Halloween and 11/1.
The Montreal show had been scheduled for 9/9; there is no new date yet for Buffalo. For a full list of dates, click here.
All tickets purchased for the original concert dates will be honored for the new date, refunds available at point purchase.
