PANDORA TRENDSETTERS: NO WAFFLING

The latest Pandora Trendsetters Chart spotlights BMLG's Midland and "underground country rap" breakout Jelly Roll.

Midland, whose impeccably smooth blend of country and rock has been winning over mainstream fans and snobby critics alike, climbs to #8 on the chart, having increased station creates by 20% (averaging about 3k per week), and the band is punching considerably above its weight on the socials. Having seen them live, we can also say they've got charisma to burn.

And then there's #17 Jelly Roll, whose career began, we kid you not, by starting a feud with Waffle House. He's been prompting 2.3k station adds, with his "Problem Wit It" f/DJ Paul seeing a 700% spin boost. Pass the syrup.
