WHO'S MAKING WAVES AT ISLAND?

Over at David Massey's Island Records, Tony Corey (pictured) has been promoted to the post of VP Marketing and Jackie Cheng has risen to Senior Manager in the Marketing department, EVP/GM Eric Wong announced this morning.

Reporting to SVP Marketing Billy Zarro, Corey will be responsible for the marketing campaigns for Skip Marley, Mike Posner and Demi Lovato, among others.

Cheng, who is moving over from the Digital Marketing department at Island, will be working with Ansel Elgort, Youngr, Sean Paul and more.

Everyone celebrated by taking pills in Ibiza, and by that we mean they each took an Ibuprofen in the conference room while an "ocean noises" CD played in the background. It's the thought that counts.
