Insiders at Sony say that at a meeting Tuesday with the heads of the Epic team it became apparent that President Sylvia Rhone will be in charge of guiding the company on a day-to-day basis, as the team attempts to put the recent sexual-harassment charges leveled against L.A. Reid in the rearview mirror and get back to the work of running what continues to be a very hot label. In addition to Epic’s current hits—notably huge records from DJ Khaled, Travis Scott and Future—the company has more major releases slated for the weeks ahead, including expected full-lengths from Khaled and Scott as well as the highly anticipated single from Fifth Harmony breakout Camila Cabello.
