SPOTTED ON NEW MUSIC FRIDAY PLAYLIST

Top o’ the morning to you. Spotify’s New Music Friday Playlist is not looking particularly Irish on this St. Patrick’s Day, though at least the logo is wearing green. There’s a Dubin lad named Dermot Kennedy on the playlist, along with new tracks from indie stalwarts Weezer, Spoon and Real Estate and veterans Depeche Mode, Linkin Park and Incubus. And the Bear Trap/Island duo of Mike Posner and Backbear known as mansionz hits the boards with “Dennis Rodman.”

This week’s playlist includes Feist’s “Pleasure” (Interscope/Polydor), Maren Morris’ “Bummin’ Cigarettes” (Columbia Nashville), POWERS’ “Man on the Moon” (Republic), Conor Oberst’s “Salutation” (Nonesuch), Andrelli’s remix of Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons” (Interscope), Tinashe’s “Flame” (RCA), blink-182’s “Parking Lot” (Viking Wizard Eyes/BMG), Real Estate’s “Stained Glass” (Domino), 1 AMVRKA’s “American Muscle” (WLDFIRE/Capitol), Zara Larsson’s “TG4M” (TEN/Epic), Machine Gun Kelly f/Hailee Steinfeld’s “At My Best” (Bad Boy/Interscope), Phoebe Ryan’s “Dark Side (Remixed)” (Columbia) and Angel Olsen’s cover of the Brenda Lee hit “Who’s Sorry Now” (JagJaguwar).
