TWO PAIRS FOR LUMINEERS

The Lumineers have notched their second #1 at Modern Rock from Cleopatra (Dualtone) with the title track, following a pair of chart-toppers at the format from their first album. If this double-double isn’t a first for a debut and sophomore release, it’s definitely rare—and unheard of for an indie label.

The group’s arena tour resumed last week; it’ll be followed by stadium dates with U2 and two shows opening for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (Seattle and London). Cleopatra was released on 4/15/16.
