Karin Koopmans has joined Bernie Cahill’s ROAR management team, focusing on the firm’s electronic-music roster. Among the artists she’ll work with are Oliver Heldens, Morgan Page, SNBRN and Ekali; she’ll shuttle between ROAR’s Bevery Hills HQ and its new Amsterdam offices, which will allow for ongoing status reports on the comparative strengths of Cali kush and Holland hash.
Koopmans began her career as a Univeral Music Netherlands intern and worked at White Mountain International Management before hooking up with Amsterdam’s Music AllStars Management/Spinnin’ Records, where she led the marketing team and rode herd on international touring schedules, grooving with Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens and Sam Feldt, among other acts.
