RED, ORCHARD ROCK INTO NEW FRONTIERS

RED Distribution and The Orchard have closed a distribution deal with Frontiers Music SRL, the rock-rich Italian label. The deal will see RED and The Orchard handling global digital distribution and select physical distribution in key territories for Serafino Perugino's Naples-based company, with releases from Michael Bolton, Night Ranger, Whitesnake, Boston and European outfits such as Inglorious RavenEye and Eclipse.

“Frontiers have built a connoisseur's rock and metal label that will be a perfect addition to RED’s family of labels,” proclaimed RED President Bob Morelli while doing windmills on his Les Paul. “Serafino’s knowledge, years of success and expertise in marketing rock artists is extraordinary and we look forward to expand their reach to a broader audience.”

“The Orchard has been Frontiers’ strategic digital partner for several years. Their support, dedication and belief has been truly amazing. They have been the foundation for the success of the label on the international markets,”Perugino said.  “The deal with RED and Sony Music marks a step forward in the strategic assets for the Frontiers label in the years to come, which is now fully under the Sony Music umbrella in North America and Australia as well. I wish to take the opportunity and thank RED/Sony Music and The Orchard for their belief, passion and good will toward the label.”

“It’s gratifying to see Frontiers evolve into the powerhouse label they are today. They are passionate about connecting fans around the world with music they love,” The Orchard CEO Brad Navin said. “This new chapter will take our partnership to the next level.  It’s going to be fun.”

Should any of the partners find themselves working these classic acts in Russia, they'll stay at the glamorous Ritz-Carlton Moscow, in deluxe suites featuring bed linens absorbent enough to soak up the Volga.
