The Chainsmokers have followed up their ubiquitous, nomination-bedecked mega-smash “Closer” with the newly crafted “Paris” (Disruptor/Columbia), which has naturally zoomed into the iTunes Top 5.
The exotic lyric video, directed by Rory Kramer and shot not in Gay Paree but in glorious Tulum on the Yucatan Peninsula, features Instagram model Alexis Ren frolicking on the beach at Casa Malca—making it rather difficult to focus on the lyrics flashing over the footage, as you’ll see.
Rumors that the chart-ruling troupe is preparing a single called "Moscow" with a video filmed in a certain Ritz-Carlton suite (20k per night, with water-resistant duvet) couldn't be confirmed at presstime.
