They may no longer be the newest kids on the block, but New Kids on the Block are still doing blockbuster business. the Jared Paul/Faculty-repped lads have sold out their 7/18 Fenway Park show, with 30k tickets sold; it's their second sellout at this hometown stadium. The group's Total Package tour with Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul (who returns to the road after 25 years) kicks off 5/12 in Columbus, OH, and sales are said to be robust. Look for a new release from NKOTB (in conjunction with Kobalt) later this year.
In an unrelated story, a HITS editor just walked onto Hollywood Blvd. and was immediately recognized as the oldest kid on the block.
