BASEBALL PARKS ADD JOEL TO LINEUP

Six baseball stadiums will have a new Old Timer’s Day this summer as Billy Joel heads to the outfield to perform at iconic venues Dodger Stadium, Fenway Park and Wrigley Field plus three newer stadiums. The 5/13 Dodger Stadium appearance is a first for Joel, who been playing to full houses at New York’s indoor and outdoor sports venues over the last decade.

The Cubs and the Red Sox have each scheduled “Billy Joel Days”—bobbleheads, anyone?—and Philadelphia is proclaiming 9/9 as Billy Joel Day in the city. (Allentown had no comment).

Tickets for all shows go on sale 1/13 with an American Express presale starting 1/9.

The tour dates:
April 28 — Atlanta, SunTrust Park
May 13 — Los Angeles, Dodger Stadium
July 14 — Cleveland, Progressive Field
Aug. 11 — Chicago, Wrigley Field
Aug. 30 — Boston, Fenway Park
Sept. 9 — Philadelphia, Citizens Bank Park
