GAGA'S "ILLUSION" LEADS THREE IGA SINGLES INTO iTUNES TOP 10

Interscope has three tracks on the iTunes leaderboard Monday morning. Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Illusion” sits at #4 after topping the chart from Friday to Sunday. DJ Snake’s Justin Bieber-featuring “Let Me Love You” is #9, one slot above X Ambassadors’ “Unsteady.”

It bears mention that the new Gaga song was officially made a super-priority on release, essentially mandating PDs to play the record once an hour. This move can generate mixed results because some PDs object to the forced play. Typically, it also results in the artist doing a major promo op for iHeart—like playing the festival in September or doing the awards show in the spring.
