Sony Legacy has compiled enough Pink Floyd pre-Dark Side of the Moon rarities to fill 27 discs in a box set that will be released 11/11.
The Early Years 1965-1972 (on Pink Floyd Records via Legacy) will include more than 20 unreleased songs among the set’s 130 tracks plus seven hours of rare concert footage. The set also features five 7-inch singles in replica sleeves, collectable memorabilia, feature films and new sound mixes. Previously unreleased tracks include 1967’s “Vegetable Man” and “In The Beechwoods.”
In addition to the deluxe set, a two-CD highlights album The Early Years—CRE/ATION will also be available on 11/11 through Pink Floyd Records. Each individual book-style package will be released separately early in 2017...
