David Massey's Island is enjoying some fine weather this week. Nick Jonas was Most Added at Pop radio and then some, with a whopping 67 stations on his new "Levels" (via the new Safehouse imprint). Shawn Mendes' "Stitches" is Top 5 at iTunes and trending Top 20 at Pop, while DCD2/Island's Fall Out Boy is poised to hit the Top 10 with "Uma Thurman" (which is Top 15 at iTunes). Meanwhile, Safehouse diva Demi Lovato (#7 at Pop with "Cool for the Summer") is about to get a huge look at Sunday night's VMAs.
This late-summer heatwave nicely sets up the next edition of the Island Life concert series, set for 9/8 at NYC’s Best Buy Theater, with performers including Jonas, Mendes, American Authors, Kiesza and Timeflies, with newly signed Keke Palmer hosting.
If only he didn't have to deal with us, Mr. Massey would truly be in paradise.
