Comedy Central will announce today that Jon Stewart’s successor as host of The Daily Show will be the little-known South African comic Trevor Noah, The New York Times reports. Noah, 31, has made just three appearances on the show, but we’ll be seeing plenty of the biracial comedian (his father is Swiss, his mother black) starting later this year. Noah speaks six South African languages, plus English and German. English should come in particularly handy in his new gig.
