Pandora has upped the well-liked and respected Jeff Zuchowski, aka Jeff Z, to Vice President, Industry Relations. Jeff reports to Music Industry Group SVP Lars Murray, who made the announcement. In his new post, Jeff will continue his work in music industry relations, creative strategic alliances, partnerships and the cultivation of his Paula Abdul station.
Prior to joining Pandora in 2012, he served as Director of Brand Development and Digital Strategy at BYond Marketing, where he led the company in the use of the terms “synergy,” “growth hacking” and “silo” in his emails. His prior work includes a stint as Director of Programming and Marketing at CBS Radio and Director of Programming at the company formerly known as Clear Channel.
Said Mr Zuchowski, “In the time I’ve been with Pandora, I’m proud to have created successful partnerships with leading artists Imagine Dragons, Iggy Azalea, Nick Jonas, and Fall Out Boy, as well as emerging artists Bea Miller, Lindsey Stirling and Rita Ora, among others. In my new role, I look forward to working closely our music industry partners, to maximize Pandora’s scale and power to connect artists with their fans in a meaningful way."
"Jeff has been a driving force in developing Pandora's relationships with, and programs for, every facet of the industry,” noted Murray. “This will take his leadership to a new level.”
