THE WHO SELL OUT...
FOR MUSICARES

The Who’s Pete Townshend and the band’s longtime manager Bill Curbishley will be honored at the 11th annual MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit Concert May 28 at Best Buy Theater in New York. Curbishley will be presented with the MusiCares From the Heart Award for his unconditional friendship and dedication to the mission and goals of the org. Townshend will receive the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for his dedication and support of the MusiCares MAP Fund and for his commitment to helping others with the addiction recovery process.

All proceeds will benefit the MusiCares MAP Fund, which provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment regardless of their financial situation. An expanded lineup of The Who will headline, with keyboard players John Corey, Loren Gold and Frank Simes, world-class bassist Pino Palladino, drummer Zak Starkey and guitarist Simon Townshend joining Pete on stage. Special guests TBA.
