Warner Bros. Records EVP Peter Gray has brought in Ko-Fung Shih as Sr. Director National Top 40 Promotion; she’ll work out of the label’s Burbank HQ.

“Radio airplay for our artists and their music is priority #1, followed closely by a constant goal of strengthening our team,” Peter began as he broke the news to us. “With those intentions in mind, it's on the mark to announce that Ko-Fung Shih has joined Warner Bros. Records.

“Ko-Fung spent years polishing her approach to promotion in Dallas and Los Angeles, and has distinctively set her reputation as the very best new national executive in today's promotion business," he continued. "Dave Dyer, Josh Reich and I are all extremely proud to share Ko-Fung's appointment, and look forward to watching her career soar in this new & well-deserved position."

Ko-Fung was not at a loss for words—in fact, she even wrote her own punchline. “I would like to thank Peter Gray for this fabulous opportunity to join Warner Bros. Records,” she enthused. “I am delighted to be a part of this deep-rooted national and regional team, and love being reunited with Dave and Josh.

“And I closed most of the Derulo adds yesterday, FYI.”
