Franck to Razor & Tie

FRANCKLY SPEAKING: John Franck has been named SVP Marketing for Razor & Tie by Co-Owners Cliff Chenfeld and Craig Balsam, to whom he’ll report. Franck was most recently SVP Marketing for eOne Music (formerly Koch Records) where, for the last 10 years, he oversaw all aspects of the marketing and video production efforts for the label and such artists as Faith Evans, Jim Jones, Christine McVie, Otep, Dwele, Ray J, Opeth, Hatebreed, DJ Khaled (who sold over 6 million singles), B.G. and Black Label Society, as well as the various WWE compilations released through the label. Franck and eOne also helped Epic Records market Sean Kingston’s debut album, which went gold and spawned four singles that sold over 6 million combined units. Prior to eOne Music, Franck held positions at 550 Music, Epic and Elektra Records in the mid-‘90s working for Jeff Jones. He started out in the business as a singer in Kidz Bop Kids. (4/11p)
