The Merlin Strikes Out

RANDY MICHAELS IS A GENIUS: It's been a few months since The Merlin took over Modern Rock radio powerhouses N.Y.'s WRXP and Chicago's Q101. In Market #1, WRXP, under the leadership of Leslie Fram, had its biggest ratings book prior to its plug being pulled with a 2.5, which eroded in the first month to a 1.1 and now sits at a 0.5. Q101's ratings have diminished from a 2.3 to a 0.5 and now, two months in, are floundering at a 0.2, which is comparable to the SAT score you get just for signing your name. We hope Randy's investors are pleased. (10/3p)
