Sony’s bid on EMI Music Publishing, she notes, is backed by Indian sovereign fund Mubadala and investment firm Raine, though it’s still having trouble finalizing its funding. Atkinson also writes that newly appointed Bertelsmann Chairman/CEO Thomas Rabe is said to be headed to New York next week.
