MTV's O Music Awards Draw Record Numbers

THE BIG O: This year’s second edition of MTV’s online O Music Awards, which featured live streamed performances by Robyn, The Band Perry, Mac Miller and Alabama Shakes from West Hollywood, beat out April’s debut as the network’s biggest live stream ever, nearly doubling the previous numbers with 1.4 million. Fans cast more than 22.4 million votes for their favorite artists, with Kina Grannis (Best Web-Born Artist), Bjork (Digital Genius), Adam Lambert (Must Follow Artist on Twitter), Tokio Hotel (Fan Army FTW) and Nirvana (Best Vintage Viral Video), taking home a few of the night’s big prizes.
