FONTANA’S HIP-HOP TOPPER: Kudos to Fontana’s Ron Spaulding and his team, who are about to score their first-ever #1 debut on the HITS Album sales chart with the physical distribution for Pittsburgh hip-hop viral sensation Mac Miller’s Rostrum release Blue Slide Park, which looks headed for that spot on next week’s Top 50. The project's digital distributor INgrooves, whose Ben Kline helped spearhead the release, previously had a chart-topping bow with Hope for Haiti Now last year. Blue Slide Park will be the first independently released debut album to hit the top spot since Tha Dog Pound’s Dogg Food in 1995. (11/10p)
