IMMORTALS PROVES POWERFUL: Relativity’s 3D Immortals racked up $32 million in its first week, with a per-theater average of $10k, to top the box office sales total. Sony’s Adam Sandler vehicle, Jack and Jill, was second, pulling in $26m for a per-screen average of $7.5k. Last week’s sales leader, Paramount/DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots, added another $25.5m ($6.5k per theater), bringing its three-week total to $109m Universal’s Ben Stiller/Eddie Murphy comedy Tower Heist brought in $13m ($4k per theater) for a two-week grab of $44m, while WB’s Clint Eastwood-directed, Leonardo DiCaprio-starring J. Edgar rounded out the Top 5, racking up $11.5m in its first week, with a per-screen take of $6k. (11/14p)
