KROQ CHRISTMAS GREETINGS: A pair of recently reunited bands, Blink-182 and Bush, are among the groups announced for the first night of KROQ’s annual Almost Acoustic Christmas, set for Dec. 10-11 at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Studios. In addition, the line-up will also include Chevelle, Incubus, New Found Glory, Social Distortion, 311 and Young the Giant, the latter being the only relative newcomers among the initial crop. Pre-sale tickets for Night 1 will be available Wednesday via Ticketmaster for those who are members of the KROQ street team. The station will unveil the roster for the second night on Wednesday, which is usually the slot for more up-and-coming bands. Last year, the annual show, now in its 22nd year, included Smashing Pumpkins, Bad Religion and Social Distortion the first night, with Phoenix, Florence + the Machine and the Black Keys on the second night.
