BMG CHRYSALIS TAPS GRIFFITHS: BMG Chrysalis has named 25-year Warner Bros. Records vet Wendy Griffiths SVP Marketing, overseeing all initiatives in the U.S. territory. Based in L.A., Griffiths will report to BMG Chrysalis EVP/COO Laurent Hubert, while collaborating closely with the company’s A&R department and international affiliates. Griffiths was most recently SVP Film & Soundtracks for WB and before that, SVP Video Promotion and Production, playing a key role in the development of such artists as Alanis Morissette, Green Day, Michael Bublé, Michelle Branch, My Chemical Romance, Muse and Linkin Park. She also served as Executive Producer of Grammy winner David Foster’s recent PBS series Hitman and Hitman Returns. Added Griffiths: “This job is the culmination of everything I have done previously in the music business and a great opportunity to work with Laurent, his dedicated team of professionals and the incredible artists whose music we all cherish...and listen to for free on Spotify.” (11/16p)
