ALL SHOOK UP: Acquisitive Dutch-owned pubco Imagem Music USA has finalized a worldwide music publishing deal for representation of Elvis Presley Music/Gladys Music. These catalogs are co-owned by Elvis Presley Enterprises and the families of the late publishers Jean and Julian Aberbach, who accumulated more than 1,000 copyrights made famous by by Presley (who received a co-writing credit on a handful of them), Peggy Lee, Nat King Cole and other legends. Among the classics in the catalog are “All Shook Up,” “Love Me Tender,” “A Little Less Conversation,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Return to Sender” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Said Imagem Music Group CEO André de Raaff and Imagem Music USA President Richard Stumpf in a joint statement, “Elvis Presley defines rock & roll, and his songs are loved all over the world. We are thrilled and honored to represent such a legendary body of work on a global basis, where we will ensure the songs are promoted and managed in a manner suitable for the King." (11/18a)
