GOMEZ ON THE GO-GO: Hollywood's Selena Gomez & the Scene album, When the Sun Goes Down, was up a whopping 248% over the past Black Friday weekend. Aside from sporting two huge tracks, selling 1.5 million on “Who Says” and over a million on “Love You Like a Love Song,” Gomez was also one of the biggest winners in a huge Universal Music Group promotion, which put 100 titles on a program giving rebates to any retailer selling the title for $7 or less. Selena happened to be one of the highest-profile artists in the Tween category that was among the 100 titles in the promotion and the big boxes all took it upon themselves to feature her (including Target putting her in their circular the Sunday before Thanksgiving). The third single off the album, “Hit the Lights,” is also selling well. (12/1p)
