Adult-leaning films

YOUR R-RATED, LIMITED-RELEASE BOX OFFICE: The biggest buzz was generated by a pair of films for grown-ups in limited release. The Simon Curtis-directed My Week With Marilyn, with Michelle Williams in the title role, grossed $1.18 million on just 244 screens. And Michel Hazanavicius The Artist, which just won Best Picture and Director from the New York Film Critics, sold out on every one of its six screens, averaging $34.333 per screen. The total box office was just $82 million, with no new movies opening wide a week after the high-volume Thanksgiving holiday. (12/5a)
