KOOKER IN SONY KITCHEN: Sony Music Entertainment’s Doug Morris has tapped Dennis Kooker as President, Global Digital Business and U.S. Sales, replacing Thomas Hesse, who recently left the company for a post at Bertlesmann. Kooker will oversee all aspects of the Global Digital Business and U.S. Sales group. Most recently, Kooker was EVP Operations and GM for the division, leading its day-to-day operations. Prior to taking the GM post, he served as EVP Operations for Sony BMG’s Global Digital Business and U.S. sales unit. He began his career in 1995. “Dennis has been a key contributor to our successful Global Digital Business and U.S. Sales Operations,” said company Chairman Morris. “We are excited to have him leading our efforts to further grow and diversify our physical and digital businesses. One day, I even hope to congratulate him in person.” (1/9a)
