TURN ON THE RED LIGHT: Red Light Management, ATO Records and TBD Records have added a pair of promo veterans to their promotion team in Tom Schmall, who will be Midwest Regional Promotion Manager, based in Chicago, and Ed Pinka, as Northeast Regional Promotion Manager in Philadelphia. The announcement was made by head of promotion Ed Green. Schmall has previously worked for Interscope, Maverick and CO5 Nashville, while Ed’s resume includes stops at Epic, Columbia, Capitol and Reprise Records. Carlyn Kessler will now handle promotion duties as the West Coast Promotion Manager based in L.A., with Rick Brewer the Southeast Promotion Manager based in Charlottesville, VA. Neda Tobin will continue as Nashville promotion Manager. The label’s Kevin Morris recently inked red-hot buzz band Alabama Shakes to the ATO label.
