He started Alan Mintz Personal Management company, then became a Senior Personal Manager/Executive Producer at Red Light, where he handled Hancock and Carly Simon. At the time of his death, he was an Associate Professor at Middle State University and President of the Bounty Group, an artist management and music industry consultancy company.
