THEY WANT THEIR EDM: I.B. Bad’s assertion last week that the majors are on the verge of a feeding frenzy over electronic dance music has gained further credence with the initial list of speakers for this June's inaugural EDMBiz Conference, which is being put together by Insomniac Events. Industry players confirmed so far include Atlantic co-ruler Craig Kallman, Red Light Management’s Richard Bishop, Glassnote’s ever-vigilant Daniel Glass, William Morris Endeavor’s Marc Geiger and Joel Zimmerman, Goldenvoice’s Skip Paige and Topspin’s Ian Rogers, along with Steve Goodgold of the Windish Agency, which books a number of EDM moneymakers.
