Levine's a movie star

MOVES LIKE ADAM: The multi-tasking Adam Levine has landed a lead role in Can a Song Save Your Life, putting him together with director John Carney, who hit one out of the park with his film Once. Levine joins Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Hailee Steinfeld in the cast. Judd Apatow is executive producer. Levine and Knightley will play a couple who move to New York to pursue music careers. After he dumps her for a solo contract, she’s discovered singing at a local bar by a down-on-his-luck record producer, played by Ruffalo. Levine appear to be in acting mode at the moment. He’s also booked for a multi-episode arc on American Horror Story. He’s repped by Career Artist Management's Jordan Feldstein and CAA. (6/15a)
