LEVINE GETS PEACOCK LOVE: Maroon 5 singer and The Voice coach Adam Levine and his manager Jordan Feldstein have entered into a first-look development deal with NBC to create scripted and other programming for the network. Levine previously held a producing role on a scripted sitcom set at a karaoke bar that NBC was developing in 2011. Levine will appear in the forthcoming movie Can a Song Save Your Life?, landed a role on TV’s American Horror Story and hosted Saturday Night Live earlier this year. He launched his own fragrance, Eau de Maroon, in February. NBC President of Alternative and Late-Night Programming Paul Telegdy praised Levine’s part in making The Voice a success. The show topped Fox's American Idol on Wednesday night in the 18-49 demo, attracting 3.45 million viewers vs. 3.19 million for Idol. "Given those enormous contributions, we're very anxious to work with him andJordan to see what future shows they develop that can find a home here at NBC." As part of the deal, Levine and Feldstein get two of Jay Leno’s 157 parking spots on the Burbank lot. (5/10p)
