JOINT COMPOSITION: UMPG won Pop Publisher of the Year for the second year running, and its writer/Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine snagged Song of the Year honors for "Moves Like Jagger"--as well as the President's Award--at last night's BMI Pop Awards. The pubco had writers on 19 of the year's most-performed songs, including tunes recorded by Adele ("Rumor Has It," "Set Fire to the Rain," "Someone Like You") Justin Bieber ("Boyfriend"), Rihanna ("Where Have You Been"), Nicki Minaj ("Starships"), Flo Rida ("Wild Ones"), Jason Derulo ("It Girl"), Selena Gomez ("Love You Like a Love Song") and Kelly Clarkson ("Mr. Know It All"), among others. Claude Kelly, Benny Blanco and Ammar Malik were named Pop Songwriters of the Year; Blanco and Malik co-penned "Moves Like Jagger" with Levine. Afterward, everyone assembled at UMPG for a celebratory blunt. (5/15p)
