THIRTY SECONDS TO TAKE OFF: Thirty Seconds to Mars’ eagerly awaited Virgin album, Love Lust Faith + Dreams, hits tomorrow and is already #1 in 20 countries on iTunes amidst a flurry of activity, including Saturday night’s appearance at KROQ’s Weenie Roast and last night’s show at Live 105 S.F.’s BFD before a record-breaking 24k at Shoreline Amphitheatre, which Live Nation officials claimed was the “best performance ever” in the festival’s history. The band is slated to play Jimmy Kimmel tonight and Conan Wednesday night before heading to Europe for eight weeks. They’ll be at Radio 1’s Big Weekend next Sunday (5/26) in the U.K., then Germany’s Rock am Ring (6/7) and Rock in Park (6/9) for 90k people a night, before hitting the Download Festival in Castle Donington, UK (6/14), for another 100k fans. The album is currently #2 iTunes in the U.K., #6 in France, #4 in Germany, #2 in Spain, Austria and Portugal. (5/20p)
