THE LITTLE GIRLS UNDERSTAND: SYCO/Columbia's Emblem3 have a lot to celebrate, as their #7 bow with north of 40k marks the biggest first week by any artist from The X Factor U.S. (and, since we're getting our chart-geek on, from any music-competition contestant in 2013). Their Nothing to Lose features the single "Chloe (You're the One That I Want)," which is Top 30 at Pop; they'll be presenting at Sunday night's Teen Choice Awards, where they're nominated in the Breakout Group category. The band is wrapping up a run of sold-out headlining dates (they're at Richmond, VA's The National tonight) and will shortly hit arenas nationwide supporting Selena Gomez. Their recent appearances, meanwhile, have stirred up terrifying maelstroms among throngs of hormonally supercharged girls. The screaming ... it burns. (8/7p)
