Perry "Roar" hits 550k

ROAR” IS RIGHT: It looks like Katy Perry’s “Roar” has had an even bigger first week than expected, with a humongous 550k. That’ll be enough to knock Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” out of the top perch, where it’s been a fixture all summer. That’s a huge win for Steve Barnett’s Capitol Music Group and for the brainy Perry herself, who’s very much the captain or her spacecraft. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga’s “Applause” is headed for a first week in the neighborhood of 225k. Round one to Perry in the latest Duel of the Divas. (8/19a)
