MJ trial near its end

TRIAL UPDATE: As the interminable Michael Jackson wrongful-death trial (it’s actually been going on for five months) grinds toward its end, CNN reports that AEG Live’s legal team has done a 180 about calling Katherine Jackson to the stand as their final witness. Instead, Marvin Putnam et al may play part of Prince Jackson's video deposition before resting its case today. The proceedings have been on hold for more than a week because of an illness in one juror's family. Closing arguments could be delivered on Monday. (9/18a)
