IS SHE EVEN OLD ENOUGH TO DRIVE? Lava has teamed up with Adverts4Autos to create an unusual marketing campaign: Ads featuring the cover art and release date for Lorde's full-length debut, Pure Heroine (due 9/30 on Lava/Republic), will be placed on the back windshields of cars in the L.A. area, to be driven around by Lorde fans, who will thus help spread the word (while also receiving some monetary compensation). The unveiling of the first cars will be tomorrow (9/28) at Joe's Parking Lot downtown at 11:30am. And if you see a car with a decal of Lava founder/head Jason Flom's face on it, it's probably not Chris Anokute's car. (9/27p)
