THREE DIVAS VIE FOR THE CROWN

Adele, Carrie Underwood and Adam Lambert in a Three-Way Race for #1

The former American Idol runner-up and 19/RCA recording artist’s sophomore album, Trespassing, looks set to debut with between 70-80k, which will at least put him in the running for a chart-topping bow. Columbia’s Glee: The Music, The Graduation Album is on target for 40-45k.

Sub Pop’s Baltimore dream pop duo Beach House is eyeing 20-25k for their fourth album, Bloom, and second for the influential Seattle indie.

Garbage’s first indie foray, Not Your Kind of People, on their own Stun Volume label, should do in the 18-22k range. Their last album, 2005’s Bleed Like Me, for Geffen, did approximately 75k.
