Conner, James Added as VP Film & TV Development Branch, GM
Erika Conner and Dorsey James are climbing the Family Tree.

The Mosaic Media Group’s division has named Conner Vice President of Film and Television Development, while James has been tapped as General Manager.

Connor will oversee the day-to-day operations of Family Tree Entertainment’s film and television development and productions as part of its alliance with Mosaic Media Group. The L.A.-based exec will report to Family Tree founder/President Michael "Blue" Williams. She’ll also work closely with Charles Roven as a creative executive on film and television projects. Conner was previously VP Film Development for Hype WilliamsNaaila Entertainment production company.

James will manage the day-to-day operations of Family Tree, seeking to expand the brand by forging new business-to-business relationships, expanding the company’s marketshare through internal growth and acquisition and running the office NCAA basketball pool. He was most recently Sr. VP at Arista Records, where he was responsible for establishing joint ventures with Sean Combs, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and Kenneth "She’spere" Briggs, among others. He was also General Manager for LaFace Records.

They are producers of the upcoming Scooby Doo motion picture. Their music acts include Alanis Morissette, the Goo Goo Dolls and Green Day, and their other talent clients include Jim Carrey, Ellen DeGeneris, Garry Shandling, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, the Wayans, Meet the Family/Austin Powers director Jay Roach and writer/producer Judd Apatow. With offices in New York, L.A. and Atlanta, Family Tree’s roster includes Jagged Edge, Donell Jones, Raphael Saadiq, OutKast, Eric Benet, Case, Pharoahe Monch, Zap Mama and IDEAL.
