GAL TO WMG

Exec Charged With Overseeing
Global IT Operations
"A Flock Of" Tsvi Gal has been named Senior VP and Chief Information Officer, Warner Music Group.

Based in New York, Gal will report to WMG Executive VP and CFO Helen "Of Troy" Murphy.

Gal is moving to WMG from the role of President at AT&T’s ATT.COM, where he was responsible for AT&T's E*Business and E*commerce activities. In his new role, Gal will oversee WMG's global IT operations and will focus on creating and maximizing the opportunities presented by both new technologies and music industry initiatives.

He will also supervise the integration of WMG's global systems and maximize technology opportunities within AOL Time Warner.

Murphy said, "We are pleased to welcome an executive with Tsvi's global technical expertise to our team. As a proven innovator in consumer electronic businesses with a stellar track record, Tsvi is uniquely suited to lead our IT team as the music business transitions to a digital world. "
