Qadree El-Amin has been named CEO of BIG3 Entertainment, the umbrella company overseeing BIG3 Records, WE Prods., Southpaw Entertainment and Mojo Rizin' Publishing.
El-Amim, previously Chief Operating Officer at the company, will run the day-to-day operations of BIG3 Entertainment. Bill Edwards, the company’s former President/CEO will now assume the title of Chairman.

Edwards added: "I have complete confidence in Qadree and the entire management team to take BIG3 to the next level. With Qadree's background and experience leading the way, I look forward to watching him continue to make things happen for our label. I know this was the right move at the right time."
The four-year-old St. Petersburg, Fl.-based entertainment company's objective is to develop, market and manage artists. El-Amin, who recently merged his Southpaw Entertainment management firm with BIG3, will remain involved with KeKe Wyatt.
In addition, El-Amin is now managing neo-soul/jazz duo, Impromp2, Nicci Gilbert and others.In his new role as CEO, El-Amin will continue to develop BIG3 Records’ roster of artists and manage the marketing, sales and promotion divisions of the company. The label's first release, pop trio Mpress, has scored a Top 10 single "Maybe." Other BIG3 artists include Prymary Colorz.
El-Amin was previously best known as the manager of Boyz II Men. He and the R&B group recently dissolved their management agreement and parted ways.
