Island/Def Jam act Hanson aren't content to just be a rock group. Now they're afterAOL's Steve Case and MSN's Bill Gates as Internet moguls. The ladswill launch a Web site, Hanson.Net, on March 29 David Bowie’s online marketing company, UltraStar Internet Services.

The move comes with the band’s album “This Time Around,” set for release May 9.

Users will receive Hanson-branded Internet access, including personalized e-mail, for $14.95 a month. Those who already have Internet access can subscribe for $6.95 a month to Hanson.Net, which offers exclusive tour footage along with interviews, ticket offers and contests. Hey, if NSYNC can sell two million copies of their album in the first week, why can't Hanson sell two million shares of an IPO. Mmmbop.com,anyone?

MTV will host a live online listening party for “This Time Around” on March 31. Of course, there's no truth to the rumor that 95.6% of visitors to the site posted the query, "Where the hell is Justin Timberlake?"
