Company Hopes Catalog Finds A Nice Rack
For Public Display

Playboy Enterprises Inc. on Thursday said it signed a letter of intent to sell its Collectors' Choice Music catalog and related CollectorsChoiceMusic.com Web site to Soundies Inc.

Under the terms of the letter of intent, Chicago-based Soundies Inc., a music label specializing in the development of previously unreleased music from the Golden Age of American entertainment, will continue to utilize the Playboy Catalog Group's customer service and order fulfillment facilities.

The deal, which is subject to the completion of legal and operational due diligence, is expected to close this summer.

Collectors' Choice Music is a catalog of re-issues on compact disc and cassette. Playboy is a magazine of cutting-edge men's lifestyle, award-winning fine writing and naked broads.
